XI. HOW THE GUJARAT GOVERNMENT BROKE THE LAW

Violation of the Principles of International Law

The communal riots in Gujarat in 2002 were in gross violation of the Principles of International Law. Moreover, the atrocities committed were in contravention of a number of International Conventions, few of which have been appended below. It is no secret that the communal carnarge in 2002 has caused India a great amount of embaressment in the world community.
